Gabriel Ocot is a full-time Texas Peace Officer and the founder of Texas Protection Force. A Sugar Land resident since 2002, he has deep roots in the community TXPF serves. His career started on the security side in 2019 as an unarmed overnight security officer with a local Houston-area company, where he was promoted to field supervisor within months — learning early how post coverage, supervision, and reporting actually hold up on a live site.

In 2020 he entered the police academy in the first class following the COVID-19 shutdown, working full-time security while attending, then shifting to weekend armed security assignments partway through. He graduated from the academy in December 2020 and has served as a sworn police officer ever since.

Since August 2022, Gabriel has served with the Texas Medical Center Police Department — a department of more than 130 full-time sworn officers protecting the largest medical complex in the world — and is assigned to its Tactical Operations Unit. That environment demands professionalism, situational awareness, and sound decision-making around the clock.

In December 2025 he founded Texas Protection Force to bring those experiences together under one company: the professionalism and accountability expected in law enforcement, paired with dependable security solutions built around each client's property, risks, and schedule. Gabriel remains directly involved in the standards behind TXPF, from personnel expectations and post orders to client communication and service quality.
